Sisters who stayed in Meito for the Ipad Conference.

This week we saw a lot of really awesome things happen!

We were able to meet with a former investigator named Fujishiro san. This week it finally got warm! It was about 70 degrees! Fujishiro san loves to garden. We were talking with her next to her garden and so we asked her about it. She showed us some plants that had just started to grow and she explained that they would grow to get very large. We then were able to teach her the principle of faith by using this as the example. Then we were able to make a next appointment with her! It was really cool 🙂

We got to meet the less active from Gifu again! She is so nice! When she moved from Gifu she lost her Book of Mormon so we gave her a new one 🙂 She was so happy to have it again! We plan to meet with her more.

When we did planning for Saturday we planned to visit this random less active who we had never met before. Normally when this happens, its kind of hard to meet with them because we don’t know their schedule. We also had never been in this part of the city before. We were way surprised by how many hills there were! We had to push our bikes up a bunch of stairs. When we got to her house she came a talked to us for about 10 minutes and made a next appointment with us! We were so happy! It reminded us of D&C 58:2-4. After hard things, you have blessings.

On Sunday before church sister Grecco crashed her bike really bad. We cleaned it up and then went to church. We thought it was fine but when we checked it was really gross. We were then advised to got to the hospital. A member took us! They are so nice! We had an X-Ray taken and she is fine but it just hurts a lot. We will be taking it easy until she feels better.

I love you all!

Love, Sister Thompson

Notes From Aubree:

We asked Aubree how the Ipad training was and this is what she said “It was good, it mostly wasn’t training, it was just warnings against the dangers of technology. It was way intense. Elder Evans of the seventy came”. We will get the Ipads in a few weeks, they weren’t specific. It will take about 3 months after receiving the Ipad for our mission to be approved for facebook. We also do not get to buy them. They are specially configured by Apple for the church before the church receives them. Also if you try to change it or download an unapproved app the mission president gets an email right away.

Aubree’s companion got in a bike accident yesterday before church. We thought it was fine but when we got home, she was bleeding and had a whole in her knee. we then went to the hospital with a member. This was after we put wrap over it so she could take a shower.
