This week we got to meet with the mother and daughter who are doing
the 30/30 program. They are sooooo nice! Every time we go over they
make us so much food! We were able to teach them about the restoration
this week. We challenged them to pray about it and they said they
would.
We also had a Relief Society activity this week. We all met at a park
and walked from there along a river path to another park. We then had
a picnic all together ๐Ÿ™‚ it was way fun! Sister Carey and I didn’t
know where/how long we were going to walk. We were surprised by the
length, it took an hour to walk one way. It was so hot! Half way
though we stopped and ate ice cream. All the women were covered in so
many layers! They don’t like to get tan. There was a pretty good turn
out ๐Ÿ™‚ on the way back, we stopped at one of the members houses that
was on the way. It was so hot that we needed a break and to get more
water. The sisters are so fit. They are all older than us but they
were walking faster than we could! It was really fun!
We also had the best English class! We decided to teach them the words
hot and cool. We made a conversation for them with the different
meanings.
A: it’s so hot!
B: what? I’m hot? Well, your pretty cool too.
A: No, I meant the weather!
B: oh well… That’s awkward
*awkward turtle

It was so funny, I took a video of it!
I love you all!
Love, sister Thompson
